About The Position

Parksite and Atlantic Plywood, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join their growing distribution operations. The position is a non-exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime. Warehouse Associates are crucial for efficient and safe receiving, storing, and distribution of products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience or equivalent training/education.
  • Basic English reading and writing skills sufficient to understand safety instructions, labels, and operating procedures.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 90 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in indoor/outdoor environments, including hot and cold conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • All warehouse positions require adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company procedures.
  • Associates must be able to work in varying environmental conditions and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

  • Use voice-picking technology to accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders.
  • Assemble and verify orders for accuracy and quality before shipment.
  • Load outbound shipments and process orders using the Infor/CSD/WMS platform.
  • Unload and inspect inbound merchandise for accuracy and quality.
  • Check in products against purchase orders and apply SKU labels.
  • Move, sort, and store materials in designated locations for efficient retrieval.
  • Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers after successful completion of company-provided training and OSHA-required certification.
  • Transport, stack, and store pallets following all safety guidelines.
  • Assist with physical inventory and scheduled cycle counts.
  • Identify and report inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized storage areas to support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Wear required PPE including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and gloves.
  • Follow all safety policies and report hazards or equipment issues immediately.
  • Work safely in indoor, outdoor, hot, and cold environments.
  • Follow company policies and supervisor instructions.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude.
