About The Position

Spartan Logistics is a third-party logistics (3PL) company headquartered in Columbus, OH. We specialize in a unique logistics model: We own and operate our own warehouses, fleet, forklifts, and other key equipment. We have decades of experience in fast-moving inventory, especially food and beverages, and also are veteran handlers of glass, paper, automotive supplies, and more. With our staff of more than 350, we operate over 4 million square feet of warehouse space strategically placed throughout Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky and Texas. Requirements

Good character and integrity
Ability to stand on feet entire 8 to 12-hour shift bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment
Must have basic computer skills and be comfortable with data entry
Detail oriented
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

Shipping/receiving/warehousing experience preferred, but not required
No experience necessary!

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently picking customer orders by reading a pick ticket for individual items to be moved, gathered, and shipped
Assembling customer orders from stock
Placing orders on pallets
