About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the selecting and prepping of orders using RF scanners, forklifts, and pallet jacks, providing support in preparing and packaging orders following REEP Fitness shipping guidelines, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and cleaned to maintain a clean and safe working environment. The expected work shift will be the following days and hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 9am - 5pm.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
1 - 2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
Forklift certification and/or experience preferred

The employee is constantly required to sit and use hands to operate the telephone, type and operate the computer and mouse.
Physical effort may include stooping, kneeling, touching, feeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
The employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and bend and twist neck.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
Ability to competently perform all the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, demonstrated commitment to effective customer service delivery, and the ability to work productively as a member of a team or work group are basic requirements of all positions at REP.

Responsibilities

Keep picking locations full by utilizing RF Scanner for inventory replenishment.
Load/unload containers, utilizing safe body mechanics.
Inspect and count incoming shipments.
Perform inventory "put aways" utilizing scanner.
Ensure that the warehouse is organized and cleaned to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Prepare and package orders following Rep Fitness shipping guidelines.
Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast paced environment.
