Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training.
Past experience in shipping/receiving and material handling.
Must be able to successfully pass employment verification through the E-Verify program.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

HVAC/R experience.
Customer service and/or sales experience.
Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of warehousing functions, primarily unloading trucks and receiving inbound shipments.
Pick orders for shipments.
Report out-of-stock items.
Clean and straighten the warehouse as needed.
Operate a forklift for unloading, moving, and storing product.
Schedule and coordinate inbound freight.
Use an RF scan gun to manage inventory and track freight.
Assist in unloading inbound freight, including the use of forklifts and pallet jacks.
Receive all inbound freight (including branch transfers) and ensure proper staging and put-away.
Label new inventory and ensure proper put-away.
Put away stock in the warehouse according to standards and procedures.
Replenish from overstock areas and rotate stock.
Update bin locations.
Complete all necessary paperwork for freight claims and daily receiving maintenance.
Assist Replenishing, Order Pulling, and Shipping departments.
Keep designated areas clean and orderly.
Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor and/or Branch Manager to ensure warehouse coverage.
Work on special projects as needed.
