Warehouse Associate (FT) Non-Exempt Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor Department/Division: Packaging Services OBJECTIVE: The Warehouse Associate performs daily warehousing work functions to meet the departmental productivity, quality, service, and financial goals. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing and organizing the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate follows company policies, safety practices, daily priorities, and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse environment with exposure to MHEs
  • Familiar with modern warehouse software
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Detail oriented with a mind for accuracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team, and or take direction in an ever-changing working condition
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of Warehouse/Forklift related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Follows facility, safety, environmental, and ergonomics policies and procedures.
  • Operates hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and OR other equipment safely and in accordance with organizational procedures.
  • Quickly and accurately receive, process and store incoming auto glass product shipments.
  • Ensures shipments are inspected and damages or shortages are documented and recorded.
  • Initiates freight claim procedure when necessary.
  • Checks incoming delivery contents against packing list to verify accurate and full delivery.
  • Ensures that auto glass is loaded/unloaded safely and properly to avoid damage.
  • Receive and select incoming pick tickets using RFID technology.
  • Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy.
  • Loads and ships product safely and according to procedures.
  • Locates, pulls and/or puts away materials properly.
  • Manually lift product up to 75 lbs.
  • Follows all customer guidelines concerning the pulling, stocking, and shipping of customer orders.
  • Uses R F Scanner for moving inventory.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed; on short notice.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
