About The Position
The position of Warehouse associate is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling of all incoming products while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand procedures.
- Ability to lift-up to 30lbs
- Valid Driver’s License
- Familiarity with personal computers.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift Certification (training & certification provided by Bell-Mark)
Responsibilities
- Receives material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately.
- Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.
- Examine incoming shipments and report/record any discrepancies.
- Accurately stage work orders and place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner.
- Fills orders to be shipped to customers.
- Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.
- Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.
- Familiarity with CofC’s and SDS’s
