Requirements

One to two (1-2) years of warehouse experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Effective interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED
Prior military experience

Responsibilities

Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming donated goods and products
Sort and place donated goods or items in gaylords or shelves according to organizational standards
Create and fill donated goods in bales, crates and other containers
Verifies and maintains inventory controls by recording amounts of donated goods received or distributed through the inventory system
Prepare donated goods for shipment to stores
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet area and workstations neat, clean and clutter free
Ensure a clean storage environment by performing light cleaning duties as needed
Adhere to and be knowledgeable of agency and departmental policies and procedures
Responsible for wearing the proper safety equipment
