About The Position

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate for their Operations team. This role is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution environment. The associate will perform manual and automated tasks for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and storage. The goal is to ensure the efficient flow of products from vendors to customers, meeting prescribed service parameters. This position is for the 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm or completion of work.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, is a plus.
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Material Handling Equipment experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow established process to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as needed.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
