About The Position

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate to play a pivotal role in fulfilling customer needs for materials and services. This entry-level position involves receiving new material from vendors, picking customer orders for will call or delivery, and participating in cycle counting and other inventory management practices. It's an excellent role to be introduced to the business and learn skills, product knowledge, and industry best practices that prepare the associate for future opportunities at Summit. Summit Electric Supply offers electrical products and services to contractors and operates throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Time management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
• Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment
• Professional appearance required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience

Responsibilities

• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
• Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit’s commitment to a safe workplace.
