About The Position

This position performs tasks associated with the storage, process, and shipment of product while meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and behavioral expectations. The role effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment (including RF Scanners), and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes within the Warehouse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience.
• Must be able to handle up to 50lbs. On average, cases can weigh up to 30 to 35lbs.
• Must be able to be on your feet for up to 10hrs shifts.
• Able to operate held RF scanner or other devices associated with Warehouse Management System.
• Able to meet safety, quality, productivity and attendance requirements.
• Able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Able and willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Storage, process, and shipment of product.
• Meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and behavioral expectations.
• Effectively and efficiently using established procedures, tools, equipment (including RF Scanners), and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes within the Warehouse.
• Loading Trailers.
• Palletizing and case sorting to proper stores/or routes.
• Wrapping pallets using proper tools.
• Assisting Coordinator with closing daily shipments.
• Handling damaged goods following SOP set procedures.
• Resets Shipping sorter timely when jams occur to prevent downtime.
• Performing necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
• Informing Manager or Lead of any problems and actively participates in process improvements.
• Operating RF scanner or other devices associated with Warehouse Management System.
• Meeting safety, quality, productivity and attendance requirements.
• Working in a fast-paced environment.
• Working in a team environment.
• Working overtime when required.
