About The Position

The Warehouse Associate maintains warehouse operations, including inventory, equipment, and the appearance of the warehouse. The position provides customer service to internal and external customers, follows company policies and procedures, and requires regular, reliable attendance. The work environment includes warehouse and outdoor settings, with exposure to varying weather and potential workplace hazards. A high school diploma or equivalent and previous warehouse experience are preferred. A valid U.S. driver's license is required.

Requirements

• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds, based on the location's needs.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Strong math and reading skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to meet all company requirements for driving a Helena vehicle.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
• Applicants operating other moving vehicles or interacting with heavy equipment must meet the applicable legal age requirement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general appearance of the warehouse, including policing the area outside the building.
• Maintain accurate inventory numbers throughout the month to help minimize loss.
• Notify the Warehouse Manager when products are low and safely dispose of damaged inventory as required.
• Maintain the forklift maintenance and service schedule.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager with monitoring mileage and required service for delivery vehicles.
• Drive a company vehicle when required.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the leader.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
