About The Position

PrimeSource Building Products Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for their Kansas City location. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits available within 30 days. The role involves receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing building supply materials within the Distribution Center. The associate will operate industrial trucks like forklifts and order pickers to move products and materials.

Requirements

Dependable attendance and team-oriented attitude.
Experience with driving a forklift or cherry picker equipment is preferred.
Experience with DC equipment is preferred.
Safety awareness with a focus on results and accuracy.
Schedule flexibility, with willingness to work overtime as necessary.
High School Diploma or GED education, or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to move 560 units daily, with an average weight of 30 pounds (70 times per hour).
Ability to handle up to 50 pounds repetitively, involving reaching, lowering to the ground, and left-right movements.
Fall protection device weight limitation is 310 lbs.

Responsibilities

Transporting materials to and from receiving, storage, and production areas using lifting devices.
Organizing product by sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to sequence.
Pulling customer orders from stock, placing them on pallets, and transporting them to packing, shipping, or directly to trucks.
Tracking customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to meet daily goals.
Verifying the accuracy and product quality of received and loaded items.
Participating in annual physical inventory and product counts, ensuring accurate labels or tags.
