About The Position

The Part-time Warehouse Associate works at Fastenal’s branch at 410 N State Fair Blvd, Sedalia, Missouri. The role supports branch operations by handling products as they enter and leave the facility and managing inventory. It may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for up to 28 hours per week. Training includes on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual learning opportunities intended to build the knowledge and skills needed to succeed and grow with the company. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a current, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated licensing program, and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.

Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen where applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
