About The Position

Operations employee with a general focus on all operations activities.

Requirements

• 1–3 months of related experience or training required.
• Ability to learn and safely operate powered industrial equipment and cutting equipment.
• Proficient in reading tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to learn and navigate an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and apply logical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare, stage, and organize materials for distribution, including deburring, packing, receiving, and shipping.
• Pull materials from stock and accurately fill sales orders.
• Confirm material specifications, quality, quantity, dimensions, and tolerances; record information in ERP system or job tickets.
• Operate cutting equipment such as Chop Saw, Band Saw, Plate Saw, Shear Machine, Waterjet, and Laser Machine to process materials per work orders.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, side loader, Combilift, overhead crane and order pickers) to move and stage materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain quality standards during material handling and machine operation. Maintains a clean and well organized work area.
• Assist with department clean-up, routine equipment checks, and other tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
