About The Position

Imperial Beverage is seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Associate to join their team in Kalamazoo, MI. This full-time role involves picking and loading cases of beer, wine, and spirits for a top beverage sales company. The position offers a fast-paced work environment with a variety of tasks, the opportunity for overtime, and a chance to work with a great team. The schedule is Monday-Thursday nights, from 6:30 pm until all orders are picked and delivery trucks are loaded. The company values hard work, initiative, and teamwork.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer skills to use an iPod and warehouse management software
• Flexibility to work with varying shift end times
• Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet goals with accuracy
• Ability to lift and carry an average of 30 pounds, repetitively, and move up to 165 pounds
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per day

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Arrive to the warehouse on time and ready to work
• Collect pallet jack, scanner and iPod
• Pick cases of beverages assigned through iPod
• Use a pallet jack to move product and organize cases on a skid
• Wrap skids to secure cases for shipping
• Print skid tags and place skids in the loading zone
• Repeat picking process
• Organize product returns and empty kegs based on truck routes
• Determine which trucks should be loaded with which product
• Assist in moving delivery trucks into truck bays for loading
• Load wrapped skids on trucks using a forklift or pallet jack
