About The Position

This role is essential in supporting supply chain efficiency by ensuring all required parts are accurately grouped and packaged in advance. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for gathering individual components and assembling them into complete, ready-to-ship kits or production-ready sets. Additionally, this role is responsible for accepting incoming inventory, verifying shipment accuracy, and preparing goods for proper storage. This role serves as the first critical checkpoint in the supply chain, ensuring that products arrive in good condition, match purchase orders, and are accurately recorded in inventory systems.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse or kitting experience is a plus
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse systems
  • Ability to operate barcode scanners and other warehouse equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve individual items from warehouse locations based on work orders or kitting instructions.
  • Confirm part numbers, quantities, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness of each kit.
  • Organize, package, wrap, and box components into complete kits following company standards.
  • Update inventory records, track materials, and locate items using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
  • Inspect components for damage or defects prior to packaging.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
  • Safely unload pallets, cartons, and packages from incoming delivery trucks.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
  • Compare packing slips and shipping documents against purchase orders.
  • Confirm correct item numbers, quantities, and descriptions.
  • Report discrepancies such as shortages or overages.
  • Examine incoming inventory for damage, defects, or missing items.
  • Document and report damaged merchandise according to company procedures.
  • Accurately log received goods into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Use RF scanners, tablets, or other digital tools to track inventory.
  • Ensure inventory data is current and accurate.
  • Transport products to designated storage areas, racks, or staging zones.
  • Ensure proper labeling and placement for easy retrieval.
