About The Position

The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of warehouse operations including shipping, pulling, quality inspection, receiving, and other related warehouse duties to ensure accurate and proper shipment of product to end-users. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in inventory control, shipping, receiving, or related field
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50lbs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Excellent history of attendance and on-time performance

Responsibilities

Accepts deliveries from carriers, identifies discrepant deliveries, and notifies Inventory Management.
Accurately checks material into the operating system and shelves material in the correct storage location, including items with special conditions.
Reviews pick slips for problems, pulls inventory and documentation according to pick slips, and verifies consistency between pick slips, inventory, and order documents.
Notifies customer service and inventory management of shipment problems.
Ensures outgoing shipments are complete and correct, prepares shipping documents, bills of lading, and air-bills.
Follows required procedures for shipping hazardous materials.
Maintains current certifications for shipping and forklift operation (if applicable) and does not perform activities beyond certifications.
Reports nonconforming material to Inventory Management and disposes of it as instructed.
Identifies improvement opportunities and presents recommendations to management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Performs duties to AS/ISO and applicable Accounting procedures and regulations.
