About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations through loading, unloading, order picking, shipping, and material handling. The role ensures products are accurately prepared for pickup or delivery, secured for transport, and handled safely and efficiently. Work is performed under close supervision, with limited independent judgment and detailed review by a senior coworker or supervisor. The associate follows prescribed processes and seeks guidance from a supervisor on non-routine matters.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for periods of up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, including using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material-handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, sort, pick, stock, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
• Prepare items for shipment or customer pickup by securely packaging materials with shrink wrap, strapping, or other protective methods.
• Verify product accuracy and condition before staging or shipping.
• Install bracing, padding, or other protective devices to prevent damage during transport.
• Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist customers, installers, or subcontractors by fulfilling orders or locating materials.
• Drive company vehicles to pick up or deliver materials as needed.
