About The Position

Looking for warehouse work that gives you an extra day off each week? Join the Brownells team in Grinnell as a Warehouse Associate on our Tuesday-Friday shift and help pick, pack, receive and prepare products for customers across the country. No warehouse experience is required. If you're dependable, ready to work and willing to learn, we'll provide the training you need to be successful.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Dependable and able to maintain regular attendance
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
• Able to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using basic technology and willing to learn our systems
• Able to work accurately and safely in a team environment
• Available to work overtime as business needs require

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick products accurately to fill customer orders
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive, stock and organize incoming inventory
• Support kitting and other fulfillment activities
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Help fulfill Retail Store door orders through 6:00 PM
• Use handheld scanners and warehouse inventory systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support other fulfillment areas as needed to meet customer demand
