About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks related to inventory management, packaging, shipping, and maintaining the warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute.
Some computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

Pack, unpack, and stock inventory in the warehouse.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate and report any discrepancies.
Print address labels on UPS Worldship.
Properly package supplies for shipments on a daily basis.
Print requisition forms on a daily basis.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.
Clean and maintain the warehouse and supplies to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors in a timely manner.
Check consistently for areas of need around the building (repairs).
Fulfill assignments given on a daily basis per the ticketing program (Issuetrak).
Reconcile purchase orders.
Maintain an accurate inventory of laboratory and office supplies.
Perform minor repairs.
Assemble furniture.
Travel to different locations such as drop-sites, storage, hardware stores, etc., on an as-needed basis.
