About The Position

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in the efficient operation of the distribution center. The position involves receiving, storing, and shipping products accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring the warehouse operates with precision. This role requires a strong focus on safety, productivity, and attention to detail.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Great Attendance
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) or willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills and the ability to use warehouse management systems.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs).
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Unload incoming shipments from trucks, containers, or pallets.
Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and report to the supervisor.
Verify shipment accuracy by checking packing slips and inputting data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
Organize products in assigned warehouse locations.
Track inventory using WMS, ensuring accurate stock levels.
Assist in regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
Accurately pick products for outgoing shipments based on order details.
Pack items securely for shipping, ensuring the correct packaging materials are used.
Prepare and label shipments for delivery.
Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or containers safely and efficiently.
Ensure correct quantities and products are being shipped.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
Work closely with other warehouse associates and departments to meet daily targets.
Participate in team meetings and suggest improvements to warehouse processes.
