About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for inspecting and evaluating the condition of cartons in the warehouse, performing repairs as needed, and completing inventory and restocking of cartons and supplies. This role utilizes scanning devices and computers to perform tasks, completes necessary reports and documentation, and ensures reliable attendance at scheduled shifts. The associate must perform all duties in accordance with appropriate safety and security standards and complete any other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
  • One to two years related experience
  • Basic scanner technology.
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Ability to work required schedule and arrive at work on time.
  • Ability and willingness to work the voluntary/mandatory overtime that is required during the busy season.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally in a courteous and professional manner with others.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instruction.
  • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to identify and compare letters and numbers.
  • Ability to read and write simple sentences.
  • Ability to work effectively with people regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or job type.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers and management.
  • Ability to maintain a level of production that meets or exceeds the established guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently without interruptions.
  • Ability to complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately and according to established guidelines.
  • Properly count, document or scan the number of units as needed by the function that is being performed.
  • Ability to verify paperwork necessary to ensure product is repackaged correctly.
  • Ability to inspect condition of product received and product going out to ensure quality.
  • Ability to follow a systematic method of performing a task.
  • Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect Team Member safety.
