About The Position

SP Industries Inc. is hiring for our team in Vineland, NJ and has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate. In this role, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on accurately pulling, packing, and staging customer orders for fulfillment. This role ensures products are selected, packaged, and prepared according to customer specifications while maintaining an organized warehouse and efficient material flow. The Warehouse Associate also supports outbound shipping activities as needed and serves as backup to the Vessel Assembly team during periods of increased workload or staffing needs. Hours are Monday- Thursday on 1st Shift - 4/10s schedule.

Requirements

  • Experience in order picking, packing, receiving, and warehouse functions preferred.
  • Ability to accurately pull, verify, and package customer orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work orders and packing instructions.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and ERP/system transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pull customer orders using pick lists, work orders, and ERP-generated documentation.
  • Verify products, quantities, and part numbers to ensure order accuracy.
  • Pack customer orders using appropriate packaging materials to ensure products arrive safely and meet customer requirements.
  • Stage completed orders for shipment in accordance with shipping schedules.
  • Consolidate orders and organize shipments for efficient processing.
  • Replenish picking locations and maintain an organized warehouse to support order fulfillment.
  • Assist with inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies and participating in cycle counts as assigned.
  • Support shipping operations by preparing labels, packing slips, and other required shipping documentation.
  • Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as authorized.
  • Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas to support operational needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety and quality standards.
  • Cross-train and provide backup support to the Vessel Assembly team as needed.
  • Perform other warehouse and production support duties as assigned.
