Warehouse Associate Night and Weekend Shift
About The Position
Acme Tools is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate for their PM and Weekend shifts. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $20.00/hour, with a $2.00/hour shift differential for full-time employees. The role involves a variety of warehousing tasks to support sales distribution, including unloading freight, verifying order accuracy, inspecting goods, and managing inventory. Associates will maintain stock levels, prepare shipments, pick orders, and load products. Occasional driving of company vehicles for transport may be required. The position also contributes to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, which may include property maintenance tasks like snow removal and lawn care. Adherence to safety standards and reporting of suspicious activity are crucial. Related tasks as assigned will also be performed.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for up to 10 hours, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, continuously climb and descend stairs safely
- Willing and able to work on powered equipment (e.g. forklift)

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of warehousing tasks in support of all sales distribution points while adhering to the company’s safety, quality, and production standards.
- Assist with unloading freight from trucks and trailers using manual and motorized equipment.
- Compare goods received and packing slips to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect goods for any damage and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
- Scan or enter product into inventory control system or related computer program.
- Maintain a consistent and adequate stock of products on the sales floor and warehouse shelves in a neat and orderly condition.
- Use manual or motorized equipment to transport inventory between warehouse and store locations.
- Participate in scheduled inventory events such as physical inventory counts.
- Accurately pick items from customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions.
- Prepare shipments for customers or other Acme Tools locations.
- Load product onto trucks, trailers, or customer vehicles.
- Occasionally drive a company vehicle to transport items from warehouse to customer or pick-up items from various locations.
- Help in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse to ensure accessibility and safety.
- Participate in property maintenance such as snow removal and lawn care.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity.
- Perform related tasks as assigned.
