About The Position

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to manage incoming and outgoing shipments of tires and related inventory. This role involves close coordination with various departments, safe operation of material-handling equipment, and contributing to a clean and organized warehouse environment. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and work with a team
• Ability to lift and move tires and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs., with or without assistance

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Tire or warehouse experience preferred, but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available if needed)

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of tires and related inventory
• Coordinate closely with shipping, sales, pickup & delivery (P&D), and service departments
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Assign tasks to team members as needed to maintain workflow and efficiency
• Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Promote teamwork and maintain clear communication with coworkers
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned
