Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and similar equipment
- Basic mathematics skills
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to understand direction, use logic to solve issues, and adapt well in a fast-paced environment
- Must communicate professionally and effectively with others
- Demonstrates safe working habits
- The ability to stand, walk for moderately long distances, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, push/pull) weight up to 50lbs unassisted
- The ability to climb a ladder
- The ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and various warehousing machinery/tools
- Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently
- Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Responsibilities
- Pull and pack orders
- Help Will Call customers
- Unload, receive, and put away stock when needed
- Prepare orders to ship via 3rd party
- Load trucks
- Ensure inventory accuracy
- Back-up driver for morning and afternoon run
- Back-up the Wire Services department as needed
