About The Position

Warehouse associate responsibilities include accurate storing of materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. Unloading containers and replenishing stock. The role involves preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, receiving and processing warehouse stock products, and performing inventory controls to maintain high quality standards for audits. The associate will also be responsible for keeping a clean and safe working environment, optimizing space utilization, completing diary logs into inventory, and reporting any discrepancies. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, along with accountability for actions and a proactive attitude towards all tasks. The position requires operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment, following quality service standards, and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Basic computer and software functions are needed for receiving and inventory, and some basic maintenance ability is also required. The role includes unloading containers and any other duties assigned by the warehouse manager.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Ability to use basic computer functions.
  • Forklift operational experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access all areas of the facilities.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Complete diary logs into inventory
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members and be always a quality team member, take accountability for actions as a team member and have a mentality that any task is doable.
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to use basic computer and software functions to assist with receiving and inventory functions.
  • Some maintenance ability to help with basic maintenance functions.
  • Ability to unload containers.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.
