Warehouse Associate/Woodshop Attendant
About The Position
This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and manufacturing/assembly of exhibits and displays. Responsibilities include selecting and handling orders, checking and verifying them, packing products neatly and securely, receiving and picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, and making local deliveries. The position also requires operating various equipment such as forklifts, jacks, saws, drills, and sanders, as well as driving trucks, vans, and cars for warehouse material transport. Maintaining a safe and neat warehouse environment and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years previous carpenter woodshop/warehouse experience preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management, mathematical skills
- Dependable and Reliable
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, date entry and computer skills may be required
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
- Occasionally lift and /or move objects that weigh more than 100lbs
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
