Parts Authority is seeking dynamic, career-minded individuals for newly created Warehouse Associate - Stock positions. Requirements

Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.

Great communication skills.
Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance.
May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
Time management skills.
Able to work well under pressure.
Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors.
Must have open availability, be flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime.
Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Securing and transferring cash or other assets.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Stocking items on the shelves.
Ensuring the neat and orderly condition of the warehouse.
Receiving merchandise from vendors and other stores and putting them in the proper location on the shelves.
Checking off merchandise as received.
Correcting mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
Assisting in pulling parts during busy times.
Cleaning up inside and outside the warehouse.
Working with the stock manager to address any problems with orders.
Resolving problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
Performing miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
