About The Position

As a Warehouse Receiver Associate, you will help the distribution center meet its goals by receiving and unloading inbound merchandise (training provided). In‑person interviews are conducted at the Killingly Distribution Center.

Requirements

  • Able to work Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm
  • Demonstrated regular attendance and must have the ability to work additional hours beyond the scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need
  • Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry product up to a maximum of 100 pounds by hand, and work at average heights of up to 8-9 feet, but up to 30 feet at times, and around a conveyor belt at times
  • Perform moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity, regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, pull/push, twist, reach, climb ladders, and crouch
  • Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time
  • Can work in a hot environment of approximately 95 degrees F at upper levels during the summer, and be able to work with seasonal temperature variations
  • Able to work with moderate noise levels and operate warehouse equipment
  • Basic English language, reading, and writing skills; basic math and data entry
  • Detail-oriented, ability to follow directions, and collaborate with other team members
  • Pass a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker helpful

Responsibilities

  • Unload trailers and railcars, break down pallets, and palletize items by SKU number
  • Count items received, use RF terminal to match quantity received to P.O. quantity and apply the license plate; Ensure received items are tagged properly
  • Identify and resolve overages, shortages, damage and vendor compliance issues
  • Stack empty pallets in return bays up to eight pallets high
  • Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse, such as forklift, pallet jack, and clamp truck
  • Assist in other departments and perform a variety of other duties as assigned
