About The Position

This position assists in unloading boxes and pallets from trucks, verifying pallet counts with the bill of lading, and checking for damages. The associate will pull boxes from the conveyor or push carts to pallets on the floor, down stack boxes, and confirm part numbers and quantities against packing slips and part labels. They will also enter packing list information into the system, sort and deliver packages to designated staging locations, and may operate pallet jacks or forklifts with in-house certification. The role requires meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, as well as achieving established quality and productivity goals. The associate must actively participate in job qualification audits, adhere to standard operating procedures, and maintain acceptable time and attendance. Overtime may be required due to business demands. A positive, team-oriented attitude, willingness to accept other duties, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, a sense of urgency, and a focus on desired results are essential. Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies and notifying management of hazards is also crucial. The role supports daily warehouse department metrics and performs foreign object detection and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained. Active cross-training in other areas is required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Energetic and goal focused.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
  • Ability to count accurately and perform simple math.
  • Ability to read English and comprehend simple written work instructions.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques.
  • Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • May require an in-house material handling equipment license according to the type of equipment being operated and follow defined safety guidelines.
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in job qualification audits and strictly adhere to all established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies and be available to work overtime as required.
  • Demonstrate a positive “team” oriented attitude and approach toward work assignments in full collaboration and cooperation with others.
  • Contribute to the ongoing success of the entire operations team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required”.

  • Perform FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained.
  • Actively cross train in other areas, as required, outside of primary job function.
