About The Position

This is an entry-level position in the metal finishing and plating industry, supporting products used in various sectors including medical, aerospace, defense, and manufacturing. The company provides all necessary training for this role. It's an excellent opportunity for individuals who are dependable, enjoy hands-on work, and are looking to build a long-term career. Many employees start in this role and advance to specialized positions within the company. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and comfort working in an active manufacturing environment with potential exposure to heat, humidity, dust, noise, and chemicals. Personal mobile devices are secured during working hours due to security requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read an analog clock and tape measure.
  • Comfortable using computers, tablets, and production software.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
  • Security: Adherence to strict security policies including restrictions on personal electronic devices, access control, and documentation procedures.
  • Ability to participate in an in-person interview in Minnesota.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, production, shipping, or machine operation experience.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Count and verify customer parts before processing.
  • Rack customer parts according to work instructions and quality requirements.
  • Inspect parts for quality, damage, and accuracy.
  • Remove completed parts from racks after processing.
  • Package finished products for shipment.
  • Complete production paperwork accurately.
  • Follow established production procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
  • Meet established production and quality expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
