About The Position
The Warehouse Associate - Picker with MHE adds value to our Customers and Co-Workers by being responsible for picking customer orders safely, quickly and correctly so orders can be shipped. This involves being a positive team member by paying attention to detail and accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Requirements
- Basic math functions
- Basic English reading and writing skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (reach truck, forklift, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Good English verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment by showing the character qualities listed above
- MHE Certification required (will be provided if required by the position)
- Previous warehouse experience an asset
- RF scanner experience required
- High School or equivalent education

Responsibilities
- Meet daily productivity expectations by accurately picking and verifying products according to order specifications and using handheld scanners
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for and protected
- Label and place picked product in proper location for shipping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company policies and safety procedures; proactively address or report issues, clean as you go and ensure positive customer service for the next shift
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks as needed, by following all safety procedures
- As a member of the team, there may be other tasks assigned that aren’t listed above
