About The Position

This role is responsible for various warehouse duties including picking, packing, and shipping orders. The associate will ensure the accuracy and quality of picked items, prepare them for shipment, and operate material handling equipment safely. The position also involves cross-training in assembly and other warehouse functions, with opportunities for employee appreciation events and product discounts.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a warehouse environment picking or packing.
• Occasional lifting up to 70 pounds, Frequent lifting is 50 pounds or less.
• Limited exposure to environmental conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience on Forklift, Cherry Picker, and electric pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned material handling equipment and/or work area for safety issues.
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Identify the correct pick location and pick in accordance with the system.
• Pick the correct item and quantity, checking UPC's or item descriptions.
• Assure that products being selected are not damaged and are picked correctly.
• Verify product is correct and packaged for shipping to ensure the highest level of quality.
• Use shipping system to generate UPS/Fed Ex labels for each package.
• Assist other fellow associates when in need.
• Assist in cleaning when all selection is complete.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• All positions are cross-trained for assembly, shipping, picking, packing.
