About The Position
Shanker Beverage Company, a fifth-generation, family-owned beverage distributor serving Mid-Michigan since 1933, is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate/Order Picker. This role is ideal for college students, those seeking supplemental income, or individuals looking for a dependable part-time position. The company values hard work and offers a supportive, team-oriented environment. This is a fast-paced, physically active position requiring frequent lifting of 50+ pounds.
Requirements
- Can consistently work Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 12:00 PM
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Are reliable and punctual
- Pay close attention to detail
- Enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced environment
- Can repeatedly lift 50+ pounds
- Have reliable transportation
- Live within approximately 30 minutes of our Lansing facility
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse, retail, manufacturing, stocking, construction, landscaping, or other physically active work experience is helpful
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick sheets
- Build organized, secure pallets
- Wrap and stage product for delivery
- Load delivery trucks accurately
- Replenish warehouse inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards
- Follow all company safety procedures
