About The Position

Zilka & Company, LLC is a foodservice distributor located in New Stanton, Pennsylvania. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and committed Warehouse Associate / Order Picker to join our team. This is a full-time, daylight position for someone looking for stable, long-term employment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and takes pride in completing orders accurately.

Requirements

Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance.
Ability to accurately follow picking instructions and verify orders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull.
Use hands and arms to handle, move, and organize products.
Safely operate warehouse equipment.
Regularly lift and move products and packages.
Lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse, order-picking, forklift, or foodservice distribution experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Pick and pull customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Verify products, quantities, and order accuracy.
Use pallet jacks and forklifts to move products throughout the warehouse.
Stage completed orders according to delivery route and stop designation.
Secure pallets with shrink wrap to maintain product stability during transportation.
Receive, restock, rotate, and properly store food products.
Load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate warehouse equipment.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Follow company food safety, warehouse safety, and sanitation procedures.
Maintain clean and organized warehouse and storage areas.
Assist with inventory and product organization as needed.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
