About The Position

The Warehouse Associate III role involves loading, crating, and assembling windows, doors, and accessories. Responsibilities include using a walkie rider to load product racks into trailers, building wood crates with power and air tools for LTL shipments, and assembling units using power tools and WMS instructions. All roles require the use of an RF scanner for inventory management and WMS on computers or tablets. Cross-training in other departments and operation of various power industrial trucks are expected.

Requirements

• Must pass drug test and background check.
• 18 years or older
• Ability to physically push/pull a force of 198 lbs and occasionally greater
• Ability to lift/carry 78 lbs. occasionally.
• PIT Training/ PIT License required for all tasks

Responsibilities

• Loads staged doors, windows and accessories into trailers
• Secures load for transit using straps
• Inspects loads to ensure that cargo is secure
• Builds crates utilizing power tools for LTL shipment
• Apply extension jams or mull units utilizing power tools while utilizing WMS for directions
• Assists other workers as needed
• Performs housekeeping duties as needed
• Assists other departments as needed
