This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently shipping orders to customers, unloading materials, and staging inventory.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of warehouse experience required
  • 3-6 months of forklift experience required
  • Experience with warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and scanner.
  • Experience with shipping platforms.
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.

Nice To Haves

  • High School degree or GED preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately fill and ship required products to the customer: pull cases, stencil, shrink wrap, palletize, and load trailers utilizing a pallet jack or forklift.
  • Have a basic understanding of other shipping software such as: Dynamics, Fed Ex Ship Manager, Easy Label, VShip.
  • Manually allocate orders that come into the warehouse via the WIP process.
  • Receive materials and unload trucks. Verify the count and accuracy of inbound shipments with a packing list. Notate any discrepancies and notify management of inconsistencies.
  • Ensure trailer wheels are chocked before entering the trailer.
  • Transport materials to assigned areas as required, staging as appropriate.
  • Assist other warehouse employees as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area inside and outside the warehouse.
  • Minimize loss by careful and accurate handling of materials.
  • Participate in inventory as assigned.
  • Support Quality Policy, Quality System, and follow established procedures. Propose changes to existing procedures through the supervisor, understanding that changes cannot be implemented prior to formal approval in the Quality System.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
