About The Position

S&S Activewear is seeking dedicated individuals to join their vibrant and innovative team as a Warehouse Associate II. This role involves performing entry-level warehouse operations such as shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, cycle counting, pop pick, or will call. The associate will be responsible for all warehouse operations, including the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment, primarily working in PopPick stations. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
  • Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
  • Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest).

Responsibilities

  • Perform entry level warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, cycle counting, pop pick or will call.
  • Responsible for all warehouse operations, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment.
  • Primarily working in PopPick stations.
  • Efficiently and accurately fill customer orders, receive, stock, stage, and ship product.
  • Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
  • Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
  • Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
  • Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
  • Operate machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
  • Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
  • Perform inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
  • Assist with other warehouse or branch duties as needed.
  • Cross train in other areas.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned.
