About The Position

This position is responsible for receiving inbound material and performing put away functions to maintain product flow and inventory accuracy. The role also involves picking and delivering outbound customer orders accurately to ensure customer satisfaction. Materials are moved and handled with Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) while maintaining a safe work environment. Attention to detail is crucial for identifying initial quality occurrences.

Requirements

• Must pass drug test and background check
• 18 years or older
• Ability to physically push/pull a force of 198 lbs and occasionally greater
• Ability to lift/carry 60 lbs. occasionally
• PIT Training/ PIT License required for all tasks
• Must be able to operate multiple types of PIT (forklift, reach truck, cherry picker, and walkie rider)

Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound material
• Put away process
• Replenishment process
• Picking customer orders (may involve reaching up to 30 ft)
• Deliver customer orders to the stage lanes
• Utilize various types of equipment to handle products, i.e. pallet jacks, order pickers, walkie riders, tip carts, pacer, reach truck, sit down forklift, dunnage, a-frames
• Read and comprehend warehouse documents such as work instructions
• Identify continuous improvement suggestions
• Follow established safety and ergonomic procedures
• Open bales, crates, and other containers
• Use of power tools
• Work in an efficient and productive manner
• Participate in 5S housekeeping and restock of supplies
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
