About The Position

The Warehouse Associate II position requires picking bulk materials for production, picking finished goods for delivery to customers, stocking shelves, hazardous material shipping, general maintenance and other warehouse related duties. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and timely delivery of products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • DOT HAZMAT certified (Air and Ground)
  • 3 to 5 years prior experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and math skills
  • Must be detail oriented and a self-starter
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work overtime with short notice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interment computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and the Internet
  • MFG-PRO/AIM-warehouse management systems and RF scanner experience
  • Three to five years’ experience in a warehouse
  • Warehouse logistics and forklift experience required

Responsibilities

  • Ensure DOT HAZMAT compliance on all Hazardous material shipping to customers
  • Pick and pack Hazardous Material based on DOT HAZMAT requirements
  • Pick raw material goods per production plan and deliver to designated areas within the warehouse
  • Stock finished good material from production and receiving to designated shelves
  • Process returns from internal and external customers
  • Process inventory receipts in ERP system
  • Process and complete orders according to customer requirements
  • Prior to product shipment and all incoming goods, count all products, compare to packing slip, and check all shipments for damage/inspect, and expiration dates. (Check contents of all orders)
  • Report shortages, damages and miss picks on appropriate forms and inform Warehouse Supervisors of the corrections needed, including returning material to vendors
  • Label and Cert Inbound material as product upon receipt
  • Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer's order to insure outgoing shipments are complete and correct
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
  • Load and unload freight delivery vehicles with the use of material handling equipment, i.e., pallet jack, forklift
  • Sample inbound material and deliver product samples to the quality lab
  • Follow PCCA's Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assists with related special/miscellaneous projects, as required
