About The Position

Join Safelite's growing fulfillment center team and ensure customers' safety on the road by delivering parts to our experienced technician team. Every item you handle or inspect contributes to our purpose of bringing unexpected happiness to people's everyday lives. The Fulfillment Center (FC) Associate III prepares our glass for distribution to our field operation teams by performing various functions to meet rigorous shipping timelines to get the right parts to the right team members to serve our customers.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
To safely operate the order picker and comply with equipment manufacturer specifications and required safety regulations, there is a weight limit set at 300 pounds. If you are hired to operate this equipment, you will need to weigh under 300lbs.
Experience with MHE equipment including forklift, order picker, and reach truck.
Comfortable with working in various environmental conditions, such as seasonal heat or cold, and staying in a stationary position for long shifts.
Strength to perform physical tasks involving repetitive moving or raising of objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Punctuality and consistent attendance to help your teammates.
Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional service.

Nice To Haves

Strong preference for candidates with order picker experience.

Responsibilities

Operates and will be certified on all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers raised up to 40 feet.
Utilize handheld RF scanners to receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory; will focus primarily on picking glass orders.
Adhere to all safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Assist with offloading tractor trailers by hand or forklift.
Maintain a secure and clean work area.
Fulfill other duties as assigned.
