About The Position

Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Associate II to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Operations and Supply Chain to inspect, receive, manage, and ship inventory for commercial operations. You will support material management groups and quality assurance while striving to become the subject matter expert for Storage and Distribution of Development and Analytical Solutions. This position is key to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of distribution and shipping experience or relevant experience in a distribution environment
  • Experience handling controlled drugs
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Active listening and appropriate response skills
  • Team player with strong cooperation skills
  • Flexibility in organizing work and priorities
  • Strong organizational skills for managing daily activities
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent computer skills

  • Forklift experience required
  • Physical ability to handle raw materials and drums, lift up to 50 lbs., perform overhead lifts, push and pull canisters, clean equipment, and operate in various postures
  • Ability to use manual and electric pallet jacks and operate forklifts safely in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Receive product into inventory
  • Demonstrate advanced ability in QTRAC processes and capabilities
  • Handle advanced shipping of Bulk Finished material and Clinical material to clients
  • Perform basic pharmaceutical destruction processes
  • Stage supplies for Manufacturing groups
  • Communicate billing, ordering, and staging of material with third-party warehouse and vendors
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks to ensure accuracy and correct placement
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Collaborate with production teams to meet goals
  • Drive productivity improvements through 5S, Lean, and other process improvement tools while maintaining quality standards
  • Reduce unplanned deviations and improve first pass quality
  • Ensure proper documentation of batch records and review steps performed by other operators
  • Maintain processing under GMP conditions and strict adherence to SOPs
  • Work with Quality Assurance, Operations, and Supply Chain to meet timelines and achieve results
  • Support customer requests as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely training records
  • Ensure continuous training and upkeep of required SOPs
  • Perform other duties as needed
