About The Position

The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for a wide range of tasks including loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products, and shipping returns. Individuals in this position must have the ability to become certified and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Agree to the company driving policies that apply to company owned/leased vehicle or personal vehicle as applicable.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record, as evidenced by completion of a baseline motor vehicle record check and ongoing monitoring.
  • When driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the company, must provide a copy of the declaration page from personal auto insurance that shows the policy dates and minimum coverage amounts ($300,000 bodily injury per accident/$100,000 property damage per accident or if driving less than 5 hours/200 miles a year $50,000 bodily injury per accident/$10,000 property damage per accident or the state minimum, whichever is more). This requirement is initially and then annually thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to become certified and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and DOT medical card preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods is preferred.
  • The ability to drive a company owned/leased vehicle or personal vehicle on behalf of the company is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship, process ERP transaction).
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store, process ERP transaction).
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits. Monitor, analyze and reconcile discrepancies with inventory controls.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Inspect goods for defects and damages.
  • Resolve issues at the warehouse level.
  • Maintain forklifts, ensuring they have proper maintenance.
  • Manage American Institution of Baking (AIB) auditing, processes, and associated paperwork.
