About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of tasks to help maintain accurate inventory levels of materials, tooling, and supplies under moderate supervision. The associate will maintain accurate inventory records, support audits and cycle counts, and prepare outbound shipments with accurate documentation. The position requires adherence to established safety and procedural guidelines, and may involve basic packaging, assembly, and inspection tasks. Collaboration with team members and support for overall warehouse operations are key. The role also includes tracking inventory for operations planning, participating in purchasing activities, coordinating material deliveries, and preparing components, tooling, and documentation for production release. Ensuring prompt return of excess materials and solving routine problems are also part of the responsibilities, with escalation for complex issues. Support for small process improvement initiatives and effective communication with team members and other departments are expected. The associate will demonstrate accountability for individual contributions and support team goals.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work with those inside and outside the department, handle multiple assignments and prioritize accordingly.
  • Ability to follow appropriate department policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license (if required to drive a company vehicle).
  • Forklift certification required (if required to operate a forklift).

Nice To Haves

  • Regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience (desirable).
  • Warehouse experience (desirable).
  • Understanding of inventory practices preferred.
  • Familiar with production procedures.
  • Knowledge of ERP system desired.
  • Comfortable with varying noise levels, which can occasionally be loud.

Responsibilities

  • Solve routine problems using established procedures and escalate when needed.
  • Support small process improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Demonstrate accountability for individual contributions and support team goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
