About The Position

S&S Activewear is seeking a Warehouse Associate II - Receiving Associate to join their team in Lockport, IL. This role is responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including maintaining an organized workstation to streamline product flow within the automated system. The associate may also assist with training new hires, handling product from conveyor systems, interacting with customers, processing received goods, replenishing the automated picking system, fulfilling customer orders, and reviewing/packing orders for accuracy and shipping standards.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and speak English
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Ability to work independently without close supervision

Responsibilities

• Manually unloading boxes and freight off of trucks.
• Operate all material handling equipment needed to perform primary role (order picker cart).
• Perform and complete daily safety inspections check list for all equipment used.
• Effectively utilize/operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department (RF Scanners, Tablets, etc.).
• Perform discrepancy counts, recounts and user created cycle counts as assigned and directed.
• Provide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking.
• Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements CPH – count per hour.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
