About The Position

Responsible to receive, stock and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishments. This role involves transacting material movements in the system (SAP) by issuing to production orders, receiving finished goods against production orders, transfers to other site locations, and moves internally between storage locations. The associate will also perform Good Receipts in SAP against Purchase Requisitions to confirm the delivery of goods from outside sources and count, sort, and store materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to assigned stock locations. Maintaining inventory locator cards by physically counting items or cycle counts as required is also a key function. Housekeeping duties such as sweeping, trash/recycling removal, and filing are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with accuracy to detail.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds ONLY with assistance of material handling equipment or additional people.
• Frequently required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

• Basic knowledge of SAP inventory transaction screens.
