About The Position

Priority Wire and Cable is seeking self-motivated individuals to join our warehouse team. These positions offer overtime, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional and personal growth. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, operating cutting equipment, utilizing technology for order processing, assisting customers, and managing shipments. Candidates must be reliable, have access to transportation, and be able to perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
  • Eligible to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Wire & Cable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
  • Use technology such as RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders for shipping.
  • Assist customers with local will-call orders.
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
  • Handle shipping and receiving of truck deliveries.
  • Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Use sit-down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility.
