About The Position
The Warehouse Associate will create a customer focus by accurately performing all warehousing duties assigned (pick/pack, ship, receive, and replenish) based on training/certification levels.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Equivalent work experience is required,
- The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in a one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret charts.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Must be able to use PC including but not limited to: Office, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, carrier websites, and google search
- Adapt to change in the work environment to maintain internal and external customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and fellow employees
- Adjust schedule to fluctuate work priorities, as needed
- Required to report any safety incidents and/or moving violations
- Uses material handling equipment to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and/or work area(s)
- Must have the ability to operate a Powered Industrial Vehicle or successfully complete in house powered industrial vehicle certification by end of probationary period
- Ability to accurately pick outbound orders
- Verify incoming material(s) by comparing physical quantities /part numbers to incoming paperwork
- Off load numerous trucks daily and verify to Bill of Ladings (Denote any damage / missing items)
- Required to participate in annual physical inventories
- May be required to work at other remote facilities
- Any other similar or associated duties necessary to accomplish job objectives, or as assigned by the immediate supervisor
