About The Position
Support warehouse functions. Receive and store incoming material. This role requires the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The primary environment is a light industrial setting with ambient room temperatures and traditional lighting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum 0-1 years warehouse shipping and/or receiving experience in an MRP environment.
- Experience with Email and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to multitask and deal with problems involving different variables.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience driving a forklift is required.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding and experience with international shipping processes and rules is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Properly ship orders according to procedure.
- Understand and maintain department housekeeping by individual observation and initiative.
- Pack product according to guidelines for safe shipment.
